Esta tarde se disputa la primera partida clásica de las semifinales.

 Los cuatro jugadores para la recta final del Tour son: Magnus Carlsen, Levon Aronian, Ding Liren y Maxime Vachier-Lagrave. Las semifinales se disputan del 2 al 4 de diciembre. La final y la disputa por los puestos tres y cuatro se llevará a cabo del 6 al 8 de diciembre. Por otra parte, también se disputará el Abierto Internacional "London Chess Classic".

El formato de juego es una mezcla de tres sistemas de juego:

- dos partidas de ajedrez clásico

- dos partidas de ajedrez rápido

- cuatro partidas de ajedrez relámpago
